How Would You Know If Your Retirement Plan Could Be Better?
- Take 15 minutes to find out
In 15 minutes, get a clear benchmark you can use to evaluate your current plan, your advisor, or any advice you consider in the future.
What you'll leave with (Retirement Benchmark):
This is not a generic checklist. In 15 minutes, we build a working snapshot that becomes a personal retirement benchmark you can reference throughout the years, including:
Current‑Year (and future years) Income Clarity:
How your retirement income is expected to flow and why it matters.
Tax & Threshold Awareness:
Key income and tax thresholds to be aware of before crossing them unintentionally.
Investment Alignment Check:
Whether your current investment approach matches your stage of life and income needs.
Overlooked Planning Opportunities:
Areas that are commonly missed or poorly coordinated — even with an advisor.
Decision Map:
A clear sense of what matters now versus what can wait, and why.
Want more context? ('Read more' if helpful):
Why this is different from most advisor meetings
Most first meetings with advisors spend the entire time gathering data and end without clear takeaways. We intentionally do the opposite. We use a Retirement Snapshot framework we normally reserve for deeper planning to quickly separate: what’s already working, what decisions matter this year, what’s unclear or misaligned, and what opportunities may be getting overlooked. No products. No pressure. No wasted time.
Who this snapshot is a great fit for
This tends to be most helpful for people who: are retired or within ~10 years of retirement, want clarity on current‑year tax and income decisions, already have an advisor but want a sharper second perspective, value thoughtful planning over sales tactics. If you’re looking for quick product recommendations or generic advice, this probably isn’t the right fit, and that’s okay.
Already work with an advisor?
That’s very common. Many people who book this snapshot already have an advisor. This conversation isn’t about replacing anyone — it’s about making sure nothing important is being missed, especially during major transitions like a move or the years leading into retirement. Most people simply want clarity and confirmation.
What the 15 minutes actually looks like
1. Quick context — a few high‑level questions to understand your situation 2. Snapshot review — we walk through key decisions and potential blind spots 3. Clear outcome — you’ll leave with one of three conclusions: Everything looks solid; A short list of items to monitor; A clear reason a deeper review would be valuable You decide what, if anything, happens next.
A note from our family-owned firm:

If you’re thinking: - “Who are these people?” - “Is this just another sales pitch?”
Those are fair questions.
We’re not a national firm, not a call center, and not a company buying or selling personal data. We’re a small, family‑owned planning and investment management firm run by two brothers who work directly with every household we serve.
We intentionally limit the number of families we work with so we can: go deeper on planning, stay personally involved, avoid the volume‑based model most large firms rely on.
Our goal isn’t to be the biggest firm — it’s to have the biggest impact on the clients we choose to work with.
